STAY AWAY!!! These crooks said they fixed my car. 2 weeks later same problem. Called them up and they happily said not to worry they'd take care of it and tow it in. I had to call them up 2 days later and they said it would be fixed the next day. They called said it was fixed. I went in not only did they charge me again, they charged me the towing(I have AAA i would have towed it for free myself if they hadn't told me they'd take care of it). When I tried talking to the owner about it he said it didn't want to talk to me that I could either pay the bill or leave the car.

Friendly folks and their prices are excellent. I had a lift installed on my Jeep for about 1/2 the price quoted by a reputable shop in Danville. They did a great job with the lift. I've had it on for a couple years now with no issues. I've taken it for hard off-roading several times, and it is good to go. I've had my older vehicles serviced many times there and they've always done good work. I hadad them install a new radiator in our van that leaked. They replaced it again, no charge, and had us back on the road quickly. That was a big deal, because the radiator is HARD to replace on a full sized Chevy van. We've had brake jobs and other things done and they've always done good work. I highly recommend them. If you need your car back quickly, tell them. They'll be up front as to how long it takes.

I don't like to be such a downer but I am not impressed at all with Martin's Auto Care. We took our truck there because it had died on the road and it was the closest place. They said they'd look at it in the morning (we dropped it off late in the evening which was the only nice thing--they were open after 5pm). They didn't bother looking at it for two days, then FINALLY called and said what the fix was. Did the work, paid and the check engine light was on before we made the five minute drive home. Took it immediately back and one of the mechanics gave my husband some dumb excuse as to why the light was back on and said we'd have to get another part fixed too if we wanted the light to stay off. A week later, the trucked died AGAIN and this time never started back up. They towed it to their place when they got around to it (so my husband was stuck on the interstate for a good two hours) and did the same thing--waited a few days before bothering to call. Had the nerve to tell us what the actual problem is this time so we're wondering what on earth they "fixed" the first time. Their prices are ridiculous like most mechanics and if you take your car there, be ready to wait at least three days before you get it back. I'm going to be taking my business elsewhere after the runaround they've been giving us.
