The office staff is completely incompetent. Simple issues they cannot and will not handle. The drivers are great and on it but don’t think the their office isn’t interested in anything except being paid. I hope the city of Westfield reevaluates their contract.
Oh - and I am fairly sure than ran over my mailbox one day while picking up my trash (they did a funny back up-turn thing in front of my house) though I have no camera to prove it. I called on that and they never called me back.
Have had their service for a little more than a year (maybe 2?), and they've skipped either our trash or recycling pickup at least a dozen times. I've pressed for a solution and asked for on of their green bins so we stand out better. They declined to provide this without my paying, but offered to send a sticker for my cans. So basically I have to be inconvenienced further for their failure of service. To their credit they credited me a couple weeks, but I went ahead and elected to pay for the extra bin. You get your way this time Ray's, but the situation has gotten tiring. Just pick up my trash and recycling or tell me you don't want me as a customer. This would be much more definitive than "did you put your cans out by 6:30?" (Answer is always yes) and then "we'll monitor your route" which clearly isn't working.
I had Ray's service for a few weeks after I purchased my house. I asked them to pick up a recycling hopper left by the previous owners. They asked me to put it out when I was on vacation and never picked it up - thanks for giving the world a flashing sign to break into my house. I called again. They would be there xxx date. Never showed up. Emailed again - no response but they came and took my trash hopper, not the recycling hopper. I complained *again.* They wanted the trash hopper and agreed to refund the rest of the quarter's payment that I had to prepay. Eventually they finally came to get the recycling hopper after literally weeks of nagging. The refund check has yet to arrive even though I have been nagging for that as well. This has been going on for over two months. Lets face it - the check isn't coming. This company is disreputable, dishonest, incompetent and I hope they go out of business. I switched to Republic and have had zero issues.
Horrible customer service. Real scumbags. Impossible to deal with. If you are a potential customer either business or residential and your can avoid I recommend doing so.
This is the most awesome company I've ever done business with. They are very customer-oriented, professional, and just an all around great company! Their pick-up service is efficient, and amazingly accommodating! They take more items, both quantity and variety than anyone else !
